Be Nice.

be nice

It’s Pink Shirt Day and as a father who has struggled with seeing my kids suffer from the negative effects of bullying I’d like all of us to just, be nice.

Thanks.

  1. Thanks for the reminder, saw it in time to remind my kids to wear pink. My son was once teased on pink shirt day for wearing a pink shirt, pink and purple shoes and having long hair… some kids just don’t get it. My son’s response was to wear the pink shirt and shoes again the next day. I was so proud of him.

    • Good on your son! It’s odd how a colour has come to mean so much. I’m all in favour of staking a claim in pink for boys and men out there. Thanks for sharing your story and enjoy the day!
